can user add new words to card sort?

I am planning to do an open card sort, and would like the
participant to add new cards if they think I have forgotten some
essential items. Is there a way to add several new, blank cards to
the deck, and allow the participant to name them?

Hi Bonnie,
We don't currently provide that functionality. We are working on some post-sort survey questions, where for instance you could ask the participant if there was anything that they thought was missing, but we don't have any immediate plans to let the participants add cards in the actual card sort. I will add it to our list of features to evaluate in the future.

I'm sorry to hear that the user cannot add new cards, but happy to hear
you will consider it as a future feature.
The post-sort survey questions would help, too (e.g., was there anything
they thought was missing).

Hi Bonnie,
That feature should be available quite soon - we are actively working on it. I've learned not to make promises around release dates, but keep an eye out.
